Bachelor of Arts (BA)

Entry Requirements : For admisssion to BA part l of the above course
  • The Part l Sahll be open to a candidate who has passed, not less than one academic year previously, any of thw following examinations:

  • Senior Secondry Certificate Part ll (12th calss) examination of the Punjab School Education Board OR Pre-Medical / Pre-Engineering examination of GNDU OR

  • Any other examination recognized by GNDU s equivalent to any of the Examination, mentioned under (i) and (ii) above, shall also be to the examination if he fulfil other canditon such as combination of subjects and/ or minimum percentage of marks required to the examination . A candidate wihtout Pass in English Will have to pass (from the Parent University / Borad of Punjab School Education Board) English in September of the precding the Part l examination or in March/April of the Same Year. In case a candidate fails to Quality the subject, the candidture for part-l examination shall stand automatically cancelled and he/she shall have no claim whatsoever againts the College or the University

EILIGIBILITY FOR BA PART ll & lll
  • A student is eligible to join Part ll/lll if He/She has passed BA Part l/ll exams respectively of GNDU
  • A student of BA Part l/ll who is placed under compartment in BA Part l/ll examination of GNDU in April 2004, is eligible to join BA Part ll/lll class provissionaly Such student will be required to clear their compartment in the Supplementary examinatio. However, the college reserves the right to refuse admission to students placed under compartment
  • Student taken at BA l can now be changed in BA ll provided th student pases the same subject in BA part l
  • A student offering Physical Education should get the signature of Prof. K L Godara,HoD, Physical Education
  • The candidate having compartment in +2 examination or at graduation level shall not be eligible for admission to any Under-Graduate or Post-Graduate course as mthe case may be.

Bachelor of Science (BSc)

The College offers following streams of BSc programmes:
  • BSc Medical

Entry Requirements:
                  BSc MEDICAL, NON MEDICAL, COMPUTER SCIENCE & ECONOMICS-PART l
  • Pass in SSCE Part ll exam of PSEB, or any other equvilant exam of PSEB, or any other equvilant exam recognized by GNDU with a minimum 40% marks in aggregate
  • Candidates opting for physics, chemistry, Mathematics Should have studied these subjects in the +2 course
  • Those who opt for chemistry, botany and Zoology should have Studied these subjects at +2 level
  • A candidates without pass in English will have to pass (from the parent Unversit/Board or Punjab School Education Board) English in September of the Year preceding the part l examination in March/April of the same year. In case a candidate fails to quality the Subject, the candidature for part-l examination shall stand automatically cancelled and he/she shall stand automatically cancelled and he/she shall have no claim whatsoever against the college or the university

Eligibilty for above BSc Part ll & lll
  • A student is eligible to join BSc Part ll/lll if he/she has passed BSc Part l/ll examination of GNDU
  • A student of BSc Part I/II who is placedunder compartment in BSc Part I/II examination of GNDU in April 2007, is eligible to join BSc Part II/III class provisionally. Such students will be required to qualify the compartment subject in supplementary examination. The college however reserves right to refuse admission to the students placed under compartment.

Bachelor of Commerce (B Com)

B Com (Regular)

B.Com (Regular) is a three year degree programme. During this course, the students are intiated into accounting principles and practices together with the study of the dynamics of various aspects of management and allied disciplines.

Admission to B.Com-I(Regular)

The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination under any discipline from PSEB / CBSE, or any other equivalent examination recoganized by GNDU with a minimum 40% marks in aggregate. Admission shall be merit-based. As much as 7% weightage will be given to the students from the Commerce Stream and 5% to those who have passed +2 examination with Economics and Mathematics

Admission to B Com II to III(Regular)

The candidate should have passed B Com Part I / II examination of GNDU, or any other equivalent examination recognized by GNDU. A student of B Com Part I / II of this college who is placed under compartment in April 2007, examination of the GNDU is eligible to join B Com Part II / III class provisionally. But such a student will be required to clear the compartment in the supplementary examination. The college however reserves the right to refuse admission to a student placed under compartment.
